Hello,

Can anyone help me or direct me to someone who will take this issue seriously.

On the 27th October 2018 a order when through on <removed> ( 3 x £50 PSN cards). I was totally unaware of this up until the 31st October where paypal sent me email saying they payed for the items since i did not have the funds to cover it. I log into paypal immediately and see my balance in the -XX. I contacted paypal regarding this issue for an unauthorised purchase, they got back to me saying it is all legit that they checked the IP and closed it in the merchants favour. I am 100% sure no one used my account as i am the only one to use it, i have not clicked on any phishing links, i always check the email id to see it it is being masked. I contacted them again and said they can try the "item not received approach". which they did. And again they say that <removed>had sent the item. I did not check this earlier but <removed> did indeed send an email. If you know how <removed>works is that they send you a link which directs you to a section of their site where you can write/redeem the code. so i click the link and it redirects me to my account order history. Note i do have an <removed> account and i was able to check the order history and on there it clearly says order CANCELLED, you can view it further and it also says REFUNDED. i have clear proof (screenshot of this). I also have proof that the link redirects me to my account history. I have contacted them 3 times with no response it has been over a week. Paypal is now pressuring me to cough up the payment. i have also contacted <removed> and am awaiting for a response, since that is where the payment went. Please does anyone know what i can do? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

The same has happened to me recently on the 22nd of December. disputed with PayPal and they say that it is legit when I know it isn't. two steam £50 top ups totaling £93.98 charged to my debit. £93.98 that I don't have.

It looks like any mention of this CD Key reseller is being kept aside as it looks like it becoming a current trend. Paypal have denied my claim twice saying it was authorised (it wasn't btw) and they can see it came from a a familiar device. They are stating it was made via my mobile phone but i'm thinking thats not the case.

I have looked into things which can help clear my name and before chrome crashed the last activity logged was DESKTOP-F07D44Q - 2 days ago
with addressed titled '(1) scanner' and domain desktoptools <part of url removed>/?rzi=1566985&rsz=1566985&rid=

The later log details matches up with the times the unauthorised transactions and possibly remotely used my pc to make transactions which would explain why the same IP address is used from when i actually changed my passwords.
Googles Activity logs are:
29 Dec 2018 (19:51:13 GMT) Loading... desktoptools<top level domain removed>
29 Dec 2018 (19:51:13 GMT) (1) Scanner desktoptools<top level domain removed>
29 Dec 2018 (19:50:35 GMT) (1) Scanner desktoptools<top level domain removed>
29 Dec 2018 (19:49:56 GMT) (1) Scanner desktoptools<top level domain removed>
29 Dec 2018 (16:26:49 GMT) (1) Scanner desktoptools<top level domain removed>
29 Dec 2018 (16:26:49 GMT) (1) Scanner desktoptools<top level domain removed>
29 Dec 2018 (16:24:40 GMT) (1) Scanner desktoptools<top level domain removed>

the website was only created 14 days before unauthorised purchases were made from my account

If you have google tracking visit myactivity.google and see whether you can pinpoint where someone may have gave themselves access

Looked through my Google activity and sure enough someone from Germany hacked into my locked PC and topped up their cellphone and bought CD keys.

I contacted DING and they confirmed someone used my email address and then updated it with a different one.
They could not give me the persons name etc but told me they stopped and blocked his account and will take appropriate measures.
So my PP WAS hacked into and a person in Germany bought items with my PP and PP said it is OK?
F THIS....

Same story here,

On Jan 19th around €100,- got billed from my PayPal account after someone somehow used my PayPal account and bought 3 games on CDKeys and Kinguin. I have no clue how they got my credentials, but after contacting PayPal, they just concluded they were legitimate transactions. Not sure how to go from here...

Losing the money is one thing, if they got in now, how do I know they won't be able to do it again...

I hope this works for everyone else it finally worked for me. Be persistent with Paypal and CDkeys.com. I kept asking paypal to review and review the case, and i posted on the CDkeys.com fb page- practically every post as they just ignored my emails. After about a 4 weeks i got my money back. Be firm with Paypal, send them the link to these forums. we cannot let these scammers get away with it. I think they hack your paypal, after somehow gaining access to chrome, then they change the email address where CDkeys.com send the serial as I bet you never received a serial just like me. I first filed for unauthorised transactions, then i filled for none receipt of goods, took a while but justice prevailed in my case.

How did you get your money back? Was it cdkeys that contacted you, or did PayPal finally approved your claim? Thank you

CDKeys.com are scammers.  - I had an account with them back in 2015. around 2017 i had an unauthorised transaction with them.. got the money back in the end.. now 3 years later, they have somehow managed to debit my amex card for 23.99... this is despite the fact, that my amex is not registered to paypal. and it comes up as a Paypal - CDkeys.com.

They might be a legit business.. but i think maybe someone who works there has access to the customer database. no clue how they managed to obtain my amex card number, as it's only a few months old./

Same thing here. 2 purchases from CD Keys, no email confirmation, nothing. only the notification from my bank account and another email notification from yahoo that someone tried to acces my email account. on CD Keys account, those orders appear as completed. I sent messages to CD keys and Paypal but nothing yet.
