eBay Global Shipping Centre sent item to wrong address, PayPal decided in buyers favour

Hi, I recently sent an item overseas via eBay global shipping programme, where the item unfortunately didn’t reach the user. I sent the item successfully to the GSP, and provided tracking information to state this, and the buyer also raised a case on eBay that was decided in my favour within 15 minutes. When the PayPal claim was raised, I provided the tracking number showing I sent the item to the global shipping centre, and then from there it shows the shipping centre sending on the item to the wrong address. I am extremely frustrated that PayPal have taken the funds from me despite me making all efforts to send the item and it being the Global Shipping Centre that messed up here. Can anyone please help in what I can do next? I tried the formal complaint button on the PayPal website but it just redirects me to the resolution centre which shows my already closed case Many thanks

Good day @conizme

I must agree that this is a frustrating situation and I wouldn't be happy myself if I were in your shoe.

Please file an appeal to reopen your case so we can have it further reviewed.

To appeal,

  1. Go to the Resolution Center
  2. Click "All Closed Cases" from the "View" drop-down menu.
  3. Click the "Appeal" button next to the case you want to appeal.
