Unauthorized Transaction

I have -802 in my account that I am being asked to pay because the person who sent me the funds reported all of our transactions as unauthorized. This began on 2-27-20 and I have already been contacted by the collection agency for a portion of the funds. I do not understand how someone pays me for a service and claims "unauthorized transaction" for their account and I do understand that since no shipping information was provided I am not covered by seller protection.

How is it that I have no choice about seller protection because its taken out every transaction that does not come from family, but when it should be applied Paypal says im not covered, oh- no shipping information was provided. I do not get to choose coverage but Paypal does get to say covered or not covered. Respectfully, I had no idea what "seller protection" was or that I should be covered until it was mentioned by Paypal but as I stated I admitted I was not selling anything nor buying anything with these transactions that are in question.

I have had this account for a few years, I do not have a business, initially the account was setup to make purchases online and more recently to receive funds from family or services I have provided for people. I am disappointed because it seems that no one has looked into the false claim but debited my account leaving -802. I called immediately when i received email and thought I explained yet the Paypal Representative did not transcribe what I said correctly ultimately making things worse (in my opinon) because the case was closed before I could submit anything. What if everyone called and made the same claim- Paypal would not exist... There is a difference between the financial institution doing and investigation and Paypal doing the investigation. The financial institution really looks into claim, unfortunately in this case Paypal only saw charges versus doing a little digging. Simple things such as IP Address comparison for transactions on their account, maybe ask the person who has access to their account, or why had they not seen charges before now. I have text messages, call logs and even GPS locations in regards to payments I received. Every transaction the person texted to make sure I received funds, but Paypal does not accept anything other than shipping information. Nothing was shipped, if anything I delivered everything I was asked to pickup in a timely, he was paying me as we had arranged. I took the person around and he payed when he could- this was a friend . I do not know what to do now, i certainly do not have the funds to pay (thats why i did errands and assisted people as a side thing). I AM SO UPSET....
