Unable to return item to seller, seller ignoring all request to assist.

I have a dispute opened against seller (FragranceX.com) for sending the wrong item, which PayPal ruled in my favour without any response from the seller to me in the process. What I assumed was seller told PayPal they would refund in full given I return the item. Problem here is I am unable to ship the item as no courier is willing to take the cargo, considering it is "dangerous goods".

What I was told is I must provide the manufacturer data sheet which I have no idea how to obtain in a timely manner, before they would even consider the shipment and calculate the surcharges which is frankly exorbitant. I've tried requesting for a return label so the item can be returned to seller by their courier (DHL) but was rejected outright.

All these facts were provided in my initial complaint, of which PayPal somehow overlooked completely and ignored. Now I am supposed to send the item back and provide a tracking number in 10 days before my case would even proceed.

What am I supposed to do now? I've enquired with PayPal before through the contact e-mail form but haven't received a reply, and not even an email acknowledging receipt of my enquiry. Appreciate all advise.

I am aware of that, but there are no couriers willing to accept the shipment without necessary documents. The Customs here are rather strict and may confiscate or destroy my package if deemed unacceptable. Please note I am located in Asia and this will be international shipping. On top of that, the charges for shipping will be very high as well.

I still feel it's best for the seller to issue a returns label, or pick up the item through their courier. A request they refuse, probably trying to make things as difficult as possible for me.

Quite similar to my situation.
Well, I found a carrier who did (but the item itself was counterfeit and it should be destroyed, not returned! yet both paypal and ebay too seller's side and insisted on return).
Guess what happened next? The less-know  carrier tracking was deemed "invalid" by paypal, the seller refused to pick it up, and now I am **bleep** twice, once with having the useless fake perfume in hand, and twice with being forced to pay for damn expensive delivery to send it back. And the case was closed by a robot. Could not be worse.

That's very unfortunate to know.

I'm currently trying every other option once more, but don't know what to do with the claims which I have until the 10th to reply with a tracking number. Emails to Paypal has so far received no response (they won't even send an acknowledgement of receipt), so will be calling to enquire further. Hopefully there is a recourse for all this. It's taken up much more time than it should have.

And on further investigation it seems the seller has been up to the same tricks as reported on the Better Business Bureau, a fact which PayPal seems willing to turn a blind eye to. It's given me second thoughts on supporting all those independent fragrance sellers out there, seemingly there is not much to do if it's an international transaction. No protection at all.

Sad times.
