A scammer left a backdoor to get the digital good back that he sold. I have proof, but since he waited the 180 days before he scammed (almost immediately after they were over he scammed me), there is no chance of getting a refund. I am pretty sure this happens to other people too.
Is there anything I can do about it?

Hello @Kali10,
Welcome to the PayPal community and thank you for your post.
As it is now over 180 days since the purchase, we will be unable to take any action on this I'm afraid.
Remember though that our protection is just an extra layer of security. You still have all of your normal consumer rights and if you paid with a bank or card, your bank may also offer protection.
