Scam Website

Hello,

I accidentally made a purchase through a scam website. I tried to order a bag of Shakeology from the Team Beachbody website. I didn't even realize it was a scam website until after I placed the order, I received a text from PayPal asking if I authorized a payment from someone named Trihn Shan. I immediately said no I did not and an unauthorized dispute was opened. Unfortunately it was instantly closed out because I did indeed make the purchase, I just didn't realize who I sent it to until PayPal notified me.

I never received a confirmation email from the vendor. 

I have attempted to contact them several times with no response. 

I have called/chatted with both PayPal and my bank several times and no one can help me. I am not sure where to go from here but I am $90 short for nothing 7 days before Christmas with no one helping me. Please advise.

Your best bet is to wait for the item to arrive and then file for item received but not as described...........if it is as that is your only option.

If you file for non receipt then you would lose if the seller provided a tracking number.

If you win a dispute for ''not as described'' then you may well have to return the item first so make sure you have activated the ''return shipping on us'' option if its available in your country.
