Resolution is a Joke

I returned a item to the seller posting it Royal Mail, 1st class, signed for.

I received confirmation that the parcel was delivered and signed for by a lady called Victoria.

I gave PayPal the link to the Royal Mail website showing that the parcel was received and signed for.

 

PayPals response is they are going to deduct the item cost from my bank account!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What do you mean deduct the items cost? Surely you have paid for the item already and opened a dispute for not as described if you are returning it??

 

If so then is the claim closed yet?

The payment from my bank account was put on hold while the dispute was investigated by PayPal.

The item was returned and signed for by the seller approx two weeeks ago.

PayPal investigated(?) the dispute and found in favour of the seller and will be deducting the cost of the item from my bank on the 9th Nov.

So the seller has the item back and will get my money as well.

Appeal the decision and make sure you gave paypal the tracking number of the returned item, 2 choices (or both).

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.
Freephone from a UK landline or UK mobile number.

I telephoned PayPal the day after the item was delivered.

I gave the gentleman the Royal Mail tracking number, he checked while I waited and confirmed that the item had been delivered at 12:39 and sign for by Victoria.

Given that they still found in favour of the seller.

 

I have appealled their decision.

PayPal has sent me a message telling me that I can only receive a refund if I send the item to TVFix(Strong Current Enterprises Ltd) Hong Kong address.

The complaints department at PayPal has already checked and confirmed the the item was received by the seller on 27/10/18 at their London offices.

Do they employee monkeys at PayPal?, no that is unkind to  monkeys, monkeys are intelligent.
