I recently tried to transfer funds from PayPal to Skrill via a website called www.aquachanger.com. I expected the funds to go through to Skrill immediately but it didn’t. After 24 hours I sent the service provider several emails. They haven’t responded to any of them. I opened a dispute under dispute resolution and escalated it after a day. The challenge is an needed to make an urgent payment and would want the money in my PayPal wallet urgently. I don’t know if PayPal can resolve this immediately given the COVID 19 situation

Hi @pchimuriwo. Your frustration is understable. Then again, refund works in 5-7 business days from the date that it showed "completed" in your PayPal account. If you have used your card to process the original payment, it may take up to 30 days to show on your card, depending on your billing cycle. If you have filed a case through the resolution center, you need to wait for the case to be adjudicated or ckosed in your favor, which may take typically up to 7 to 10 days. Please make sure that you keep an eye on your email for our updates and ensure that you can respond in a timely manner. Thank you for trusting PayPal. Stay safe.

Thank you for the advice. Hopefully, I will get my funds back soon. Or the funds will go through to Skrill. And I hope the service provider is not a fraudster.

Thank you for the advice. I have escalated the case with PayPal today, the 8th of April 2020. I am now waiting for their processes to complete.

Thank you so much. I got the refund. I wanted to find out if I can use the refund to send the money to a friend. I am in Zimbabwe. The money doesn’t appear on my PayPal balance. I have since removed the card I had used to make the original payment. Is there any way I can send these funds before they get credited bank to the card I used

Hi @pchimuriwo. I'm glad that finally your issue has been resolved. There is no way that this money will be ahowing to your PayPal balance because it will be refunded directly to the card. If you wish to send payment using your PayPal balance, what I can suggest you to do is to add funds from the bank account linked to your PayPal. All for th best! Paypal just closed my account and there is a dispute in progress of which I can't give a refund and close it! They are still holding money even though I didn't had any dealing with the buyer to warrant him to send money to my PayPal! What's should I do to ensure the owner gets his FULL refund since he has been texting me all along to refund his/her money? Please help . Thank you

Hi @annestellah. Thank you for letting us know of your concern. Closing an account that has balance in it ( be it positive or negative balance) is not possible. Moreover, if it has an ongoing dispute case. Nevertheless, let me tell you how it works. If you have an open case, you just have to wait for the decision, which normally may take up to 7- 10 days from the date that you open it. Your case will be decided depending on the documents presented by both party. Normally, as a seller, and you lose the case, it will be closed in your buyer' s favor, and the money will be automatically refunded to your buyer. I have the same issue with aquachanger yet I'm not entitled to a refund for the same issue?? My case was closed and my money gone it seems??
