The same thing happened to me.  It is obvious PayPal doesnt have any managers,  and has explicitly removed any capability to appeal decisions that are made by robots (or people that act like them).  There is no ability to understand facts and reach reasonable outcomes.  I am personally cutting down on my paypal use because of it.  Credit card companies far exceed in terms of customer sat and protecting their consumers.....
