Hi Guys, anyone here working from paypal or anyone here experienced lack of customer support from paypal? I have an issue regarding my account but no one is available to entertain my situation. I cannot withdraw funds from my paypal account because of this proof of address verification. I already provided them with the necessary documents showing my current address the same address I currently used in paypal but still the documents were rejected. Please advise. and please help me lift the limitations . Thank you.
Why would they reject it? Is the image clear enough for PayPal to see? Is it redacted in any way? Is the image of the full document? Is it a document they accept as proof of address? Like a bank or credit card statement? Or did you submit document that has your address on it but they do not accept as proof?
Yes, I already submitted necessary documents to them that shows my current address. They are pretty clear to me. I just submitted them a barangay clearance as proof of address which was issued last December 17th, 2020. As for the validity, barangay clearance is valid until 1 year from the date it was issued. Barangay clearance is considered as government issued document in the Philippines. We'll see how they're going to handle it. I will update you guys.
Hi Guys, finally PAYPAL lifted the limitations on my account. Just upload any utility bills or government that matched your address in paypal. In my case, I just uploaded a Barangay clearance which is considered as government issued document here in my country. Thanks to all of you. Hope this helps.
having the same problem . already submitted all of the required and valid documents and now they decided to permanently limit my account , now my funds is being held for 6 months . I really need that money because of the pandemic , are they even trying to review it . this is very aggravating .
How can we reach them directly? This is very annoying and frustrating. I've been with them since 2014. I don't know why they're asking this proof of address now.
