I opened cases for transactions with PayPal that I didn't make however PayPal denied the case with a ridiculous reason. I showed them I have never purchased from this merchant before and my IP address will not even match the one used to make the transactions and I showed evidence the items did not come to my address. They took months to complete this case to then deny the second case they opened for me which was 'Item not received' Long story short I had to go to the financial ombudsman and PayPal have sent me debt collectors to pay back the money they reimbursed me, this I had to use to pay off debts. Has anyone had any luck with going to the financial ombudsman with a case against PayPal? How long does it usually take and what do they do?
