Hello!
My name is Andrew <removed>.
I am Executive Manager and SEO at Unmannedly Defensive community and UnDf Virtual Academy of Engineering and Applied Sciences which I co-founded. Unmannedly Defensive is a nonprofit educational & engineering community founded by a group of individuals - past coworkers and colleagues. The main directions of our work are:
By drawing attention to the educational process and the world of technology with interesting entertainment visual content, we identify the talents and dreams of each student individually, establish personal contact with each of them to identify their needs related to the learning process and access to information.
In our core community group of Unmannedly Defensive there is an ongoing educational process that includes technical information posts and all sorts of high-tech news, as well as online lessons in various complexity, ordered by students and selected by instructor-engineers.
In order to increase student interest rate , we have introduced incentive bonuses and awards for taking an exams on those subject. ( We now creating a platform for easy technical access to our online lessons, which will allow to reach even more people from areas with poor signal quality.)
We also working on creating Local Training Stations for fast studying modern computer professions and Fish Farm Schools - Local Agro Centers for learning agricultural ways of creating wealth.
It quickly became clear to us that many of our virtual students do not have the basic conditions and tools for learning. At the moment one of the main directions of our work is to create a platform for collecting and sending donated old, unused gadgets (smartphones, laptops, netbooks) from wealthy countries to our Local Edu Stations.
By distributing these gadgets to our local edu stations, we create a process for our student to acquire professions related to gadget repair and maintenance, as well as directly meet the needs of our students in their own tools to access team_work network, online lessons and other educational materials. It gives base for young professionals who have completed our training can personally begin gaining own funds working in new learned area.
Also, have been recently faced with this need, we started a project
ENGINEER'S LIFE MATTERS
We began action and search to evacuate talented future engineers from war hotspots when we found such children. Using the power of COLLECTIVE, we are searching for a place for such children next to our colleagues in universities in neighboring, peaceful countries.
Another important area of our work is:
Together with our virtual students, connected to Local Education Stations , leaded by UnDf online R&D team, as well as Local Project Leaders (LPL), we developing and implementing projects for simple and inexpensive ways to provide problem hoods with electricity, drinking water and internet access.
Composed of already educated and qualified engineers from different countries, UnDf R&D Team researches problematic areas and ways to solve the problem. Than, by help of LPL's , with all tech documentation needed, students developing necessary infrastructure for their neighborhoods, while being in in modern minded technical atmosphere.
As all of the funds UnDf use for any type of activity, at this time are our personal donations, as well as donations from people who know the team members personally, in order to be able to provide students with the most basic needs as well as all kind educational needs.
In addition to the main areas of all the work mentioned above, we also providing our LEduStations with various features to attract kids and teenagers - classes of mechanics, design, 3D modeling, creation and piloting simple civil UAV's, etc.
For this purpose we search and send to our LEDS various interesting and not expensive technical products.
We are young community , but we just have created
Local EduStation in Benin
Main Campus and 2 Local Edu Stations in Nigeria
Local Edu Station in Cameroon
And we are on the way to open LEduS also in Kenya, Ghana, Solomon Islands and Central Africa Republic.
So, for all our needs we opened paypal account for NCO\NGO's . And was just waiting for how cool it would be not to search weeks how to send money to our local project leaders to buy a new gadget for mostly poor student or to pay for internet at Local EduStation.
But just when we transfered a small amount of money from our personal accounts , we were limited.
We require automatic loading of piles of all kinds of documents, that we don't have.
We haven't even gotten our hands on the official registrations.
Our LPL's run across Africa, gathering children and connecting them to online learning processes and their Local Programs within the Local Edu Stations, we have a lot of work to do with educational and entertainment content in the community on Facebook, logistical efforts and sometimes security challenges of our LPL's working in hot spots.
We started the work - collecting documents for registration of UnDf Global and UnDf Locals, but it will still take a long time.
But we already have a lot of urgently needed expenses. We can't even start sending letters to potential sponsors interested in cooperation,
because we don't have the opportunity to get their funds (There's no scence in getting them into a blocked account).
Can you please tell us how to bring our problem to the attention of the PayPal team?
How can we prove our reality without having official registration documents? If we can use our Local Project Leader's Info for to get thir PayPal accounts be approved by PayPal?
How can we fully use the wonderful opportunity to collect donations for our projects with the help of a simple and fast QR code system?
We can provide all the necessary LPL's contacts, Local du Stations addresses, Facebook links to events in our communities, official Virtual Academy contact details, address and photos of our fish farm, a gallery of students and their portfolios and even a video of our training activities.
Please help us solve the problem! We cannot continue working on projects without being able to accumulate and distribute funds.
Thank you!
