Order plus international

I am one of the growing number of people duped by Orderplus International Inc (and it’s many other company names).  It goes like this:  order an item through a Facebook ad, pay by Paypal, receive an item that is not as described in the ad, get told to return the item (to a China) for a refund that would exceed the cost of the item.  After getting the Resolution Dispute runaround with PayPal, you realize the whole thing was a scam and somewhere people are laughing at the stupid American, Canadian, Brit or whatever who fell for it....again. Hmmm, I wonder if anyone on China ever falls for it?

Some people get refunds by complaining to their Bank who somehow convinces PayPal to act. You can join a Group on FB that is looking into launching a class action suit against PayPal. If someone there is not complicit in the scam, they’re at least not protecting their customers by not alerting them to the scam. Make some noise.

Chinese Web Sites or on Facebook easy to spot so buyer beware.

1. No return address on the returns policy............thats because the site will look as if its in your country (where they despatch goods from) BUT they will ask for returns to go back to China (returns depot) at a shipping cost nearly always more than the item is worth.
2. No contact telephone number............if you click on contact the most you will get is webmail or an email address.
3. No company address information.
4. Great looking items at bargain prices that turn out to be tat.

HOWEVER you may still have the option to do a charge back if you funded your paypal payment via a credit card.
Also Paypal may contribute towards return costs IF you have activated the below link (if available in your country).
