My paypal account is currently limited. With my bank I currently have a 'child' account despite being over the age of 18 now (I'm 19 years old). I just never bothered to change it. So I was wondering if I were to create a student current account with my bank could I create a new Paypal account with that bank account linked even though it's still under the same name ???

You would need to ask customer services if you can open another account.

If you don't then you risk your new one being limited as well.

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.

OR

have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.
