My account was used by others.

Today, I found that my account was limited due to 'suspicious activity on a credit card added to your PayPal account'. When I checked my account, I found that my own card and bank account were removed from my account and another unknown credit card was on my account and did some transaction. I started to resolve my account limitation, however, PayPal asked me to confirm the credit card. I really cannot do it since it is not my card and  I cannot receive the code from the confirmation. What can I do to get my account back? I try to contact PayPal but no agent is online and is able to response my questions.

So you're stuck having to confirm that unknown card or does it allow you to add/confirm another card? 

 

Can you remove the unknown card? 

 

Consider contacting customer service for further assistance:

  1. Log on.
  2. Click HELP at the top menu.
  3. Scroll down and click CONTACT US.
  4. Scroll down to click CALL US or other contact options.

Call early, during business hours, west coast time to try to get a US rep.

Yes, I cannot add/confirm another card now and I cannot remove it from my account. Also, the 'CONTACT US' is not available now through 'CALL US'. There is only 'Message Us' but I did not receive a response for a long wait.
