I bought a computer SSD memory. Ebay shows as sent from china. Item ordered on 3rd Feb and received on 8th Feb with a royal mail postage. Item is faulty. I tried to work with them and asked for a postage label. I still have not received it even though they later said do you want us to send it again. Eventualy I gave up and revceived an email from paypal.
To receive the refund, you'll need to initiate the return shipment and upload the tracking information in the Resolution Centre before 6 March 2021.
The item has to be sent to the following shipping address
<removed>
you're responsible for any costs associated with the return.
How can this be right. I have to pay postage for a faulty Item.
I have to send it to China when it came from the UK.
If they sent me a return slip it defenatly would not have a chneese address on it.

Just spoken to paypal and they insist that I post back to china and I will only receive £12 for poastage. This item came from the UK. Paypal ask me to check other couriers. What courier would send a paccel to china for under £12?
Paypal should be working with me not againsrt me.

In the event of a dispute you choose your seller and not Paypal so you need to bear in mind possible return trackable costs before you go ahead and buy from that seller / country.
Paypal state this >>
IMPORTANT: You may be required to return the item to the seller or other party we specify as part of the settlement of your claim. PayPal Buyer Protection does not entitle you to reimbursement for the return shipping costs that you may incur.
Although they will compensate you for some of the cost if you have activated this at some point before you made that transaction.
https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/FAQ3544 (make sure its the UK one as that is the .com link).
You also have the option to do a chargeback via your card issuer instead of a Paypal dispute if you funded your Paypal payment via a credit card.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
