So I should lodge a dispute and go from there? Give them whatever proof, evidence etc they ask for? I've never had to do this so don't know what the process is. Cheers.

Yes, File your dispute. However PayPal will contact you . Communication with them is very slow. Post all you find out about your problem here in the community. I don't know if it will help as this is my first dispute also.

I have now the same problem! I also ordered the steel tongue drum, and I got that stupid roll mat drum whatever. And I keep reading everywhere that Paypal refuses to refund the money and they protect this company, knowing full well that it is all a fraud, endorsed by Paypal. A real shame!

So whilst thousands worldwide are following the dispute process or filing chargebacks and getting refunds, you prefer to think that Paypal are refusing to refund the funds?

Can you provide evidence to support that accusation?

I do and the only ones that post are those that did not get a refund OR have not waited long enough for the dispute process to complete.

Meanwhile far more are being refunded on a regular basis.

Well, I hope so! But more importantly, why the company is not banned from advertising on Facebook, and process the payments through Paypal? I'm quite sure that filling a complaint to chinese authority will be a waste of time. But there is certainly something that can be done against their illegal activities!!!!

The best thing is not to buy cheap 'deals' from China via social media really.

As its not against the law in China to produce and sell fake goods then of course they are going to try and con folks worldwide with scam websites etc.

Also if you are going to risk it then always fund that payment via a credit card to give you an extra layer of buyer protection.

I bought with Master Card from Canadian Tire, but I recently cleared all the amount and cancelled the card. I will call them, but I don't expect much...

The issue is not buying fake goods, its the fact that there is a consorted effort to rip people off and using bait and switch tactics to achieve this goal. Pure fraud with criminal malice and intent. Trade wars should not trickle down to the consumer when payments are made through a intermediary such as the likes of an institution like PayPal.
