If the item doesn't arrive or arrives misdescribed then you can open a Paypal dispute.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

I have an open dispute in resolution center. Fansunit sent me an email direct with a tracking number for Track17 a but the number comes back with no information and the site says it is not active yet. I bought a 2018 New Electric Surfboard through a Facebook ad. I research the product online and the price seemed too low. I then researched Fansunit and found other mentions of them on PayPal community. Here is a link to a current forum talking about this scam. https://forum.e-surfer.com/t/efoil-electronic-surfboard-for-199-usd/501

Here is another link exposing the scam that exposes how they get around PayPal rules for resolution. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SmJOor2zWQ
The fact that I have no consumer protection from PayPal means I may close my account with them and never be back.

Here is a bogus "new tracking number" email they sent directly to me and not through the PayPal system.

I bought what was supposed to be a metal drum via a FB ad. I paid $99.99US on PayPal.
I received the item today and got a roll-up rubber electronic drum, worth just $15.00US.
Completely the wrong item. Also noticed the sender address on the package is not the address on the fansunit website.
I've sent an email to them but I'm guessing I'm not going to get a reply?
What can I do?

I'm still waiting on PayPal to finish their review. I had posted all the articles I found on Google pertaining to dealings with this scam company. Some of the articles pointed to Fingertip Interactive Tech Co.Ltd Scam. Some of the posts refer to the PayPal Community post of other people that have been scammed.
I posted the links on the community page. PayPal knows all about this company and yet they continue to allow them to rip people off. PayPal could block them but for some reason they don't.
