Oh boy, I am not going to sugar-coat it...your account is likely going to end up getting closed. Drop-shipping can be high risk activity. It's not that it is not allowed by PayPal but if you do not have the capital (ie, you withdraw the money or as soon as you receive payment, use it to buy the goods the customer ordered) and cannot be responsible to provide for returns, refunds, customer service in case a transaction goes wrong, PayPal will determine that your business model is high risk for them and will close your account and even blacklist you. PayPal perhaps experienced a lot of cases where users who do drop-ship run off with the money and do not or cannot provide customer service/returns/refunds if a customer complains and files disputes or chargebacks if the product is not to their satisfaction for any reason and PayPal ends up paying for the bad transactions refunding the customers.
And, it's unfortunate...you're just starting out too. People need to do their research on drop shipping businesses before they do it. PayPal accounts are not a toy and running a business is not a joke and people's eyes get all big and think of all this cash coming in is all fun and games but it isn't. Someone has to be responsible. Please understand that this is not to put you down in particular. I am just putting this advice out there so others can be informed.
When PayPal asks for invoices and you cannot provide it...I dunno. I am not familiar on how Shopify runs their drop ship program but perhaps they provide you receipts for the products you bought and the tracking numbers to the items they shipped out.
