So, I set up a business account on PayPal and linked it to my business bank account. I was informed that I needed to upload certain documents to verify my business. I have my EIN confirmation letter and mail from the IRS and EFTPS verifying the business and address, but PayPal insisted on an electric bill or some such utility. I couldn't provide this, because I run my business from home and I pay the bills from my personal bank account. I tried uploading a document from the IRS that included my business name, EIN, and address, but PayPal rejected it. I cannot attempt to upload any more documents. They are now instructing me to contact them in order to verify my business, but they don't make that easy, either, with no phone number by which to reach them.
Anybody else have this problem? And what can I do? PayPal is now prohibiting me from accessing my own money.
