DISPUTE RESOLUTION DOES NOT WORK.

I opened a dispute case but in my paypal account there is no opened cases. What should I do, as time is running out and the seller has gone silent and blocked me, and I already pain 97USD equivalent of 80Euros.

Which dispute did you open, ie which did you choose?

Did you escalate before 20 days post opening was up?

What option on Paypal did you use to send the payment to the seller in the first place?

How did you fund the Paypal payment?

I opened the dispute and resolution portal a which is also the resolution center, I have been trying to escalate my issue but pay-pal keeps telling me they have an issue with there system and I have a few days before the case is closed. I paid the seller using his email. I funded my paypal account using mobile money.

ok sorry as you haven't answered any of my questions its hard to advise.

 

1. WHICH DISPUTE DID YOU OPEN.................

Non-receipt of item OR

Item received but not as described OR

unauthorised transaction OR

a chargeback.

 

2. WHAT OPTION DID YOU USE TO PAY THE SELLER.

Money request.

Invoice.

Send money > goods / services.

Send money > family / friends.

 

3. HOW DID YOU FUND THE PAYMENT.

Funds in your paypal balance.

Debit card.

Credit card.

Bank account.

Prepaid card.

 I opened Item not as described, but it was a service and it was a totally different service from what we agreed, i have the messages as proof.

 

2. WHAT OPTION DID YOU USE TO PAY THE SELLER.

It was Money request no invoice.

 

3. HOW DID YOU FUND THE PAYMENT.

I Funded using my paypal balance.

 

But whats bothering me is that I keep getting an error when i try to escalate and also pay-pal has not been replying my messages. I also have all the proof of agreement and alot of evidence but no one in pay-pal is helping.

ok then its odd if Paypal made the decision before you escalated to a claim.

Are you sure it was before the 20 days were up?

 

If so then your best bet is to contact customer services and appeal.

Click on help / contact bottom of paypal pages for options in your country.

It was a shame you didn't fund the payment via a credit card as you could have done a chargeback.
