Claim response time

Hi guys - I opened a claim and am waiting for a response from the seller.

It's been  20 days and they've sent nothing to me or Paypal - when will this be resolved? Do Paypal indefinitely wait for a response?

I wanted a refund under the EU regulations but am worried I'll fall outside of that remit because the seller isn't responding?

Did you eventually get a result? I know PayPal have extended it to allow the seller to have 20 days To respond instead of ten. But what happens if it goes over 20 days and seller still hasn’t responded?
