ChargeBack for unauthorized transaction.

Until 20 days ago someone made 3 transactions without my authorization: 1. $ 450 2. $ 382 3. $ 1371

I immediately notified Paypal of the problem, because I did not authorize the transactions, they explained that I should report them as unauthorized transactions. On February 10, Paypal tells me that everything is fine and that the transactions are valid and closed the case and limited my account permanently. I immediately contacted Paypal and ultimately the support agent advises me to go to the bank to ask my credit card provider for something called "chargeback".

So with my heart in my hands I immediately went to the federal police to file the complaint and went to my bank to report the transactions as unauthorized. 7 days ago, I received an email from Paypal:

The case is 7 days have elapsed since I received the mail and I do not see the money return, my account is permanently limited and I can not enter, because I get a dialog box. It is my first time doing this, I would like to know what is going on now that will happen from now on. I feel that I am sailing among sharks, who just want to steal my money, I cannot delete my credit card.

May take longer than 7 days for investigation to complete. Can take between 30 to 90 days depending on the circumstances. Your credit card and paypal's merchant account bank has to duke it out. Did your card issuer say the cases are closed and refunded you? Check your credit card account or with your card issuer as that is where the provisional or permanent refund will be issued.

Financial information can not be removed from limited PayPal accounts. If the transactions are fraudulent, your card issuer might consider issuing new card anyway as the card was compromised in some way.
