Bank Statement in language other than English.

Hi, is it allowed to submit a bank card statement in a foreign (non-English) language? 
Does account language affect which language of the documents is accepted when unlocking account from temporary limitation?

Thank you for your post! If you're called upon to provide a bank statement for a limitation, the language should not matter as long as the bank account number, address, and name match the information that needs to be confirmed.

The reason I'm worried is about these statements is that being in another language may prevent a speaker of the other language from recognising their attribution. For example, my name in the profile is stated in English, as "Ivan <removed>", whereas my bank could state it in Belarussian, where it would become unrecognizable by an English speaker. Sorry, can't post the actual sample due to the language limitations on this community.

Thanks for your assistance though, my statement in Russian was successfully accepted, so I assume I was worried for nothing.

Hi @Ivan_Cherepanov,

That's a valid concern, and at first look, someone could potentially consider it a mismatch. If you are submitting a document where your name is spelled differently in Belarussian, you can include a page among the documents that explains the concern.
