Account privileges revoked for no reason

For starters I've been a member of paypal for over 10 years, and so has my business partner.

I recently started this account for my clothing brand and it was locked after my business partner added some of his information to the account, which I'd think would be just fine considering we're partners and this is a business, not personal account.

I spoke with support and talked to the highest tiered rep who said there's nothing I can do, and the money from 2 orders we've received already will be held for 180 days. These aren't even random people sketchy who have ordered, I know them personally. Paypal took their cut also, its not like they did a friends/family transfer when they were buying goods.

This makes no sense whatsoever and the customer service was incredibly unhelpful and unwilling to even try and clear anything up. The most they did was ask for the last 4 of my social, and then said there's nothing they can do because someone above them set the limitation and they won't take calls.

What are we supposed to do? Go open another brand new bank account and go through this nonsense again? This is ridiculous.

Its against paypal rules to allow someone to access your personal paypal account and/or your individual business account and add their info to that account.

If you have a business account in a company name and so can have other business users on your account then thats a different matter.

If we created the wrong kind of business account, we should be getting help upgrading it, not banning us without any help whatsoever!!

Why wouldn't there be a way to resolve this, that makes no sense. We are both part of the business and want both of our information on the account... Why wouldn't there be a way to actually speak with someone willing to fix this. Worst experience I've ever had with customer service.

I went to use my card yesterday through PayPal at the store and it was declined. I have money in my account and then I have money in four different accounts I have set up for my bills and such or I save it. I called and they were very rude and told me I have to wait 180 days. That is my money for my food and my rent my school my children and I have five dollars in my freaking pocket. They transfer me and then they tell me that they cannot tell me why the only thing they said was they sent you an email telling you that your account was closed. So while I was on hold waiting for the next person and I go through the emails and I see Dispute and I mention this and they say that I was a liability to PayPal I’ve been with them since 2015 all my money is in PayPal. How do I get this fixed who do I talk to I cannot wait 180 days I thought I already had bad health problems this is going to make it a lot worse
