Transferring Money From a Bank Account in Canada

Hey, recently I have requested to transfer some money into my PayPal account from my BANK ACCOUNT (not credit card). This was on the 18th of March. Tonight, I see on my online bank transactions, that the money has been sucessfully withdrawled from there, written as this. The column for the amount has been removed obviously. On the far right there >

However, these funds have not yet shown up in my PayPal account. Is something wrong? Or does PayPal have to approve of this AFTER my bank does... I'm lost.

Hello everyone, and welcome to the boards!

When you add funds to your PayPal account, you may see the funds debited from your bank before you see them show up in PayPal.  Overall, adding funds from a Canadian bank account can take five to seven business days to process.

I am living in Newfoundland, Canada...(Newfie,,,LOL) 

I am new to ebay and paypal..at the moment i am waiting for my $ to finish processing.

paypal says Mon for the first tranfer, and Tue for the sec. tranfer.  

My question is why are my ebay invoices in US currency? 

and how do I change my ebay  invoices for the things I want to pay

for to Canadian currency?    

Hoping you can help me   before I start  sending money to China.

Welcome to the forum!

I'm assuming these are invoices for items you've won - in that instance, the denomination you would be asked to pay in would  be determined by the original auction.  So, if you want to work out a deal with the seller, they can always send you an invoice in CAD.  You'll just want to shoot them a message and let them know the email address to send the PayPal invoice to.  However, it's up to the seller if they're willing to take a CAD payment if their listing was in USD.

Monday and Tuesday sound about right - bank transfers in Canada take about five to seven business days (weekends/holidays don't count).  However, you don't have to have funds in your balance ot make a payment on eBay in most cases.  If you complete the checkout, it should just debit the bank directly on your future purchases.  Optionally, you could add a credit card to your PayPal account.  Your bank transfers would be credited to the seller instantly, then, allowing you to cut out the waiting period.

It has been 9 days now. I tried to buy something and it said insufficient funds.

I requested the transfer on the 18th of March. I went back and checked and it said its expected to complete on the 28. Which really **bleep**, have to wait 10 days for money.
