Ebay Payment Problem

Hello I wonder if anyone can help me, at 7am (ish) this morning I paid for an item I won on Ebay last night, I went through the Ebay checkout process as normal, signed into my Paypal ccount, confirmed the payment method and then confirmed the payment, at the last screen of checkout I was presented with a message saying:

"We are processing your payment of £65.00 through PayPal. You will receive an email receipt shortly. For more information about your purchase, visit My Ebay"

Nearly 5 hours on and:

1/ I have had no confirmation email from Paypal

2/ The item is still showing as unpaid in My Ebay

3/ There is no sign of the transaction in my Paypal account

I can however confirm that money HAS been taken from my credit card, what has happened? It is imperrative this money reaches the seller today so they can post the item to me for my sons birthday next Wednesday, Paypal have taken the money from my credit card but it just seems to have vanished into thin air.

Any help appreciated.

tht has happened to me today only paypal took the payment 5 times instead of once !!!!!!

Hi there RachelPembs,

If you cannot see the payment in your PayPal account it sounds like it has not been completed.

Go to 'History' and view all activity, if you still cannot see details of this transaction and this is urgent I would suggest you click on 'Contact Us' and 'Call Us' at the bottom of your PayPal account. We can check the details of this transaction and advise further.

Thanks for replying I have emailed the seller so far they have not got back to me although as the item is still showing unpaid in my ebay and there is no trace of it in my paypal transactions it is unlikely he will have it 

Since posting earlier I have had a very frustrating conversation with Paypal  where I was told they could see no trace of any transaction and I must have done something worng! Then he told me to ring back later if it still was not showing!

I have also been online with Ebay chat what a waste of time that was as well after giving them a ton of information and all sorts ot transaction id's I was told they could not help and I needed to speak to Paypal!

I despair I really do, this money has 100% been taken from my credit card I can see the transaction in my online credit card statement it has gone to paypal for the correct purchase it is obviouly some kind of glitch that seems to have happened this morning at 7am to nobody but me!

Gutted to say the least  I have attached a copy of the final page of checkout from this morning I also have a screen capture of my credit card statement to show all the Paypal details and reference numbers, I am not going mad this money has been taken and has simply vanished 😞

i cant finish payment, ebay says contact merchand or try other payment method, what i should do??????? please help me somebody somehow
