Buying a Domain with Paypal balance

I was just wonering if i could because i have tryed on a site and it said that i have to use a credit card. Is it because my balance is empty or because i cant do that

If you do not have a balance and at least one piece of financial information on file, you will be unable to make a payment.  Think of PayPal as a wallet.  Into that wallet you can put cash, cards, or even cheques.  Once they're in there, you can spend them to make purchases.

Please note that if you have a balance, you must have at least one other financial source on file, be it card or bank, to ensure the payment completes as necessary.
