OK, this is getting really frustrating. I am getting mad. I don't hardly ever used this PayPal account and I have no idea how to use it. I don't even know why I ever bothered setting it up.
But I have closed a bank account and the related debit card that was the card on this PayPal account. So, luckily, I thought to add a different card and remove the old one. I added the new card and made it the primary card. Now when I click Delete on the old card in my profile, it won't let me. It pops a box (very lightly with no noise or flashing) that says
You may not remove your back-up funding source while an instant transfer is still pending.
OK, so what is this instant transfer and where can I see it?
I even went into the bank accounts section and removed the account that I just closed.
HELP - I am sick of this and just need to get it over with.

OK, for whatever reason this time they were able to do it. My issue is that I was trying to enable the card on a different PayPal account. Whatever fancy footwork was needed did the trick.

Fantastic indeed! The way PayPal's settings work is indeed pure fantasy at many locations. Example..,my business model is buying certain items FAST on eBay, faster than my competitors to make a profit. However, ALL my purchases are made by CC as I feel more secure in them handling $200k of business as they don't put a hold on my funds while a transaction is being "queried". Here's the even more annoying and cynical corporate policy moment: I can NOT select a credit card as a default payment method even though it IS my default payment method for every purchase..so the extra 3 clicks I have to make every time I buy something (and the internet lag) has lost me THOUSANDS in lost purchases that I could not buy in time. My smartphone struggles the most with this but even my 20Mb home service takes 30secs to a minute to clear this deliberate obstacle to my choice of business model.

To get the correct number, go to Contact Us and click Call Us. If you log in, it will give you a direct number for your region and give you a secure web pin that will breeze you through validation when you call. If you opt not to log in, it will still offer you a number.

I have been trying for over a month to delete one of my accounts...It is linked to my savings account and when I set this up, I didn't know it was against the law... so I put my other account as my primary, but every time I make a purchase.. the money is taken from my Savings. My bank is threatening to close my accounts because of the illegal use of transfers...
The error comes up as there is a transaction pending... Which is not the case! I have no pending transactions!

That's frustrating! If there is some unresolved transaction in the history of your account, a representative will need to take a look and see what the specific situation is and help resolve it for you. Please give Customer Solutions a call.

I have tried for 13 times to change my address But I sure canged to fhing one peepicking theng on the phone with you agin i got shut off with one man cause his cound was his bad for him not me i could hear him nisly, but owell so a scound phone was not able to mafe for another 21 minutes so thin i went back on to this agine so this is the last time or i will be cutting paypal conpletly OUT.

i am not being allowed to delete debit cards "transaction pending" on 3 OLD debit cards that have not been used in a long time.
