Paypal Keeps Removing Bank Account

I've been having this problem for over 6 months now and have called about it at least 6 times, but it keeps happening.

Paypal sends me an email every two months or so saying they cannot locate my bank account and have removed it from my account. I have confirmed my account so many times, but this keeps happening.

I have an electronic transfer and direct deposit checking number, an account number, and routing number.

I called my bank about this issue to and they said Paypal needs all three of the numbers. I called Paypal and told them what my bank said but they said they only need the electronic transfer and routing number (this time). Last time I called I was told they just needed my account number and routing.

Can anyone offer insight to this matter?

Thanks

Welcome to the boards!

If you're having issues with the bank working on PayPal, I would speak to your bank's processing department.  They'll need to provide you with the routing number and account number for ACH transfers (in Canada, banks refer to this as an EFT - electronic funds transfer - number).  Those are the numbers to use when registering it to PayPal.

If your bank requires that PayPal send the direct deposit information with every transfer, it won't be compatible.

Hope this helps!
