unable to process a payment

i've been trying to make a payment for an e bay item but for the past 24 hours it been unable to process.

 

I get the error code 10417.

 

when asking the question they say they are aware of the problem

i managed to sort mine, it was a silly mistake, i had  new bank card and hadnt changed the detils on my paypal. double check all your details are correct.

Hi there apolla88va,

 

As per the other members advise check your card details and make sure they are up to date, this error means your card issuer is declining your payment.

 

If your card details are up to date then you need to contact your bank to see why they are declining these payments.
