Hi I am new and need some help. Do I have to transfer funds into my paypal account before I can buy any thing.

Or does it go straight out of my bank account, to the seller, thanks, sandy

Hi there, sorry for the delay in responding.

If you have set up your bank account and done the deposit process, and have a card attached to your PayPal account when you make a payment it is instant to the seller.

It takes up to five days to be debited from your bank account, you do not have to upload funds to pay a seller.

Do I have to have my card set up or can I just have my bank account verified in order to have funds taken from my bank?

And is there somewhere on the paypal site where I select to have funds taken from my bank account if there arent enough in my paypal?

I'm a little confused and quite new to all this.

PayPal always take the balance first, then whatever is left they take from your bank if you have done the small deposits, if you have not they take from your card.

When you have no money in your PayPal account they take from your bank if it is verified and set up, if not they take from your card on file.
