buyer cant pay me through PP

I haven't used ebay for a while but thought I'd sell off some old tat. My first sale went through just fine & I received my payment straight away. But the second item has been bought & the chap who won the auction keeps telling me paypal wont let him transfer the money into my account. I've been into paypal and I needed to 'lift my limits' from £1700. I've now done this but the buyer is still saying paypal wont let him put the money in my account.

Any ideas whats wrong? My friend is having the same problem...

Any suggestions would be really appreciated

Many thanks,

Mark

Hi there Mark_griff,

If you had a limitation in place on your PayPal account, it would prevent you from receiving payments on your PayPal account. If the limitation has since been removed from your PayPal account, I wouldn't think that you would incur any difficulties if a buyer was trying to send a payment to you for an item they purchased.

Do you know if your buyer has tried contacting us directly in order to see if there is a potential issue from their side when they try and send the payment?

Have you gone in to your Resolution Centre on your PayPal account in order to be completly sure that there are no outstanding issues on your account that would prevent a payment from coming through?

Let me know if you are still experiencing difficulties and I can investigate it offline for you.

David.
