Understanding Paypal Screens

Hello, I'm fairly new to this and am trying to understand the display screens. When I go from summary to payments received  the pament changes from gross amount to net amount - which is less. Can someone please tell me what is the net amount?

It sounds like you are seeing  two different amounts as one is the amount of your received payment and the second is the amount of the payment you received minus the PayPal receiving fee.
