When I was on ebay earlier I came accross a sight called Swoopo. They were selling i pads really cheap. I signed up with swoopo. I lost out on the deal. They are still charging me the amount I agreed at the beginning. You have to buy different price bid packs and that is what they are charging me for. I am new to all this. What I like to know can they charge me for something I lost out on

NO how can they? If they do you file INR. You have to sign into your PP account to pay and as you won't be doing that they cannot just take money.

PayPal took my money out of my account. They e mailed me a receipt for £36.99 I dont know what to do now

Hey there cheekychappy,

It sounds like maybe you have set up a billing agreement or subscription with merchant. As classy-diva says they cant just take money without your permission, so if funds have been sent without you logging into do it, then it has to be by a billing agreement or subscription.

You can cancel it by following the steps below.

1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
2. Click 'Profile' near the top of the page.
3. Click 'My Pre-approved Payments' under 'Financial Information.' (Don't see this step? Follow the instructions below.)
4. Select the 'Merchant Name' for the Payment agreement you want to cancel.
5. Click 'Cancel.'
