Someone wants to buy my item through paypal instead of ebay to avoid fees is this safe?

Do i need to look out for certain things when payment is sent because i really don't want to be scammed.

This is not a good idea nor is it safe and is a violation of eBay's Policies.  If you list an item on eBay, it must be sold thru eBay, else your Seller Protection is voided.   Scammers know the rules and policies because the read the Legal stuff. 

You can remove the item from eBay, once that is done, you can sell the item any way you want but, if you end up selling to the same individual just for the sake of selling, most likely you get scammed anyway.
