Paypal users please beware of a scam Email regarding payments to Skype Inc. I have just received an Email supposedly from Paypal regarding payment for 3 months subscriptin to Skype Inc. The Email states that if you have not authorised this payment then please click on "cancel payment" button.
Please ignore this Email as I do not believe this is from Paypal as it does not state my name, ebay membership or Email address as the recipient - it simply welcomes the Paypal Client.
Also when I clicked on cancel payment it redirected me to another site which I immediately closed without entering any personal details.
Thanks Pam

Hi. I have had loads of these emails in the past few months, the most recent this morning. I believe that if you were to click on the link to "receive a full refund" this would take you to a page where you would then enter password/login details and be conned! I have never clicked on this link but have forwarded email to spoof at paypal. All the supposed purchases concern Skype. Something i have never had and have no intention of getting. My advice to anyone getting these emails is to forward to paypal then delete. I always go out of email account and log in securely to my paypal acount and there is never any money shown as actually having gone to these fraudsters. Seeing this is the case I then just forget about the whole thing, till next time!.

Thanks I just found the answer I was looking for. I received this email this morning, that I had paid 96 quid to skype. Nearly fainted! But didn't click on cancel payment. Decided to log into Paypal myself to check & hey presto! there's my answer its a scam. Thanks x
