Paypal users please beware of a scam Email regarding payments to Skype Inc. I have just received an Email supposedly from Paypal regarding payment for 3 months subscriptin to Skype Inc. The Email states that if you have not authorised this payment then please click on "cancel payment" button.
Please ignore this Email as I do not believe this is from Paypal as it does not state my name, ebay membership or Email address as the recipient - it simply welcomes the Paypal Client.
Also when I clicked on cancel payment it redirected me to another site which I immediately closed without entering any personal details.
Thanks Pam

Got the bogus email here today. The price for 3 months of Skype is now up to 94.99 pounds (about $150)!
My PayPal account shows no charge has occurred.
I have forwarded the email to both spoof@paypal.com and spoof@paypal.co.uk
I did click the link at the bottom of that email, and wonder if I am going to have problems as a result.
At the bottom of the page it said,
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you haven't authorized this charge, open a dispute at:
https://www.secure.paypal.co.uk/cgi-bin/webscr-cmd=_view-a-trans
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After I clicked, the resulting page said something like it no longer worked. I don't want to try it again.
Looks like it could be a real PayPal link, so maybe I'm okay.
My question is, how do these people get your money or whatever? I clicked the only link that was provided, and did not suffer any consequences that I can see. Maybe that link had already been disabled prior to me clicking it?
