Should probably be posted in the disputes and claims section I don't know...I'm so frustrated!
Sold an item in August 2013 and payment was classed as pending. Following advice on paypal, I realised this was because of an incorrect email address which I then amended. The payment was still pending, so I contacted paypal. They replied with an automated message and a link to one of their pages explaining that the money had been held because I was a new seller, and advised the money would be processed after the buyer had left positive feedback. Trusting this advice, I dispatched the item. Two months later and I still don't have the money and paypal have been useless!!
Ebay have said that there's nothing they can do as it is too late to open a case, and have recommened to contact paypal to reverse the transaction.
However, ebay provided me with the buyers phone number to contact her to ask her to pay again. The buyer is now refusing to process the money, even though she is aware no money was taken from her account previously. What can I do!? How do I even contact paypal about this as everytime I email them they reply with an automated message?! So angry.
I'd be very appreciative of anyone who could help.

Hi you should have their email addy on the ebay end of auction email.
That identifies their PayPal account.
Good luck....not a nice buyer.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

If it was pending with an incorrect email addy then amending it would not help that transaction only future ones.
You could have either added that old email addy to your paypal account if you still had access to it and the money would have come with it as you can have up to 8 email addys on the one paypal account OR asked the buyer to use the cancel option and then sent them an invoice to repay from the correct email addy.
The payment hold advice was daft as if it was an old email addy it would not have even showed in your paypal account and even if released it would not have been in the right account.
Unfortunately if it is unclaimed in the buyers account for over 30 days then it is returned to them.
You had bad advice from paypal in my opinion and should have come here.
Your only option is to send the buyer an invoice and hope they will pay.....unlikely or
file in the small claims court....but you may lose and its a lot of hassle for a small amount of money.

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply - I know it's abit of a complicated one. Will definitely not make this mistake in future and bear in mind your advice. You've been more helpful than anyone from eBay and Paypal!
The only issue I'm having with sending them a invoice is that I don't know their Paypal address to send it to? Or is there a way of finding out this information on their profile or something? Won't go down the route of a small claims court as it isn't worth it, but eBay have advised me to contact a law enforcement centre.
