Hello my first time here so be gentle.
On the 12th of the 10th 2010 I bought an item from xinyu201088 but when i went to pay eBay or Paypal not sure which wouldn't let me pay because the seller had not entered any P&P so I messaged the seller and no reply so I contacted ebay and after a consultation with a helper i was told to go to paypal account and send the money through the send money tab to the email of the seller which i did. On numerous occasions i have messaged the seller and finally i have had a message back saying you have sent the money as an echeque so you will have to wait the payment on my paypal account is saying Unclaimed and I still havent had my purchase, its the 27th now can anyone advise me help me please
I hope I have made this post clear for you to understand I know what i am trying to say but sometimes I make a right pigs ear of explaining to others.

Two reasons whilst it might be unclaimed,
1. The seller has no PP account with the email address you paid to.
2. The seller has to claim the payment in their PayPal account.
To be honest I think it is the first one.
Cancel the payment and ask the seller to invoice you from within PayPal via Request Money give them your PP email addy so the request shows in your PP account.

Hey there balloo,
What classy-diva says is right. If it is the first one, as in the payment has been sent to an email address that has not been added and confirmed on the sellers account, then you will have the option to cancel it.
If the payment has been sent by eCheque it would also state ‘uncleared’.
If you can cancel the payment, the easiest thing would be for the seller to send you a money request direct to your email address.
Come back and let us know how you get on!
Thanks classy-diva!
