Hi,
Can I receive part payments through Paypal?
For example full purchase price is £500, £100 required as a deposit and balance in 30 days?
when on my site the order is £500 and when directed to ebay full amount is due, is their any way of accepting part payment only?
Thanks
Simon

Part payments are not covered via Seller Protection and offers the buyer no Buyer Protection, in order for a payment for an item to be eligble for either the sum of the goods has to be paid in full. That could be in 30 days or 5 days.
How you take payment is up to you, however you have to send an item within 7 days in order to be eligible for SP if you did not send within 7 days of full payment in one lump sum you lose your protection.

Hey there countrywide,
So your buyer has purchased an item for £500 and they are required to pay only £100 now as their deposit, however when they are redirected to eBay it asks them for the full amount of £500.
It isn’t possible on eBay. The best option in this situation would be sending your buyer’s a money request for the amount owed.
