I see Paypal are no longer accepting new applications to their PayPal Top Up Card. Does this mean they will be discontinuing the card in the future.

I called them and they said everyone will have them by the end of june(this month), a batch gets sent out every week, but she couldnt tell me which batch my card was on but I will get it my the end of the month...

Thanks for posting smoothcannon, i was going 2 call them 2day to chase it up but will just hold tight now, hopefully they will all be issued by the end of the month.

No card no information till now, can't enter the website with my details so I got kicked.
So I'll not accept PP any longer in my webshop, and will use ebay only for very small business. Less turnover for you PP and ebay.
I tell everyone how bad you treat your customers. For me the case is done. Enough trouble with ebay and PP, together with its buyers protection has already cost me hundreds of pounds for fraudsters.
bye bye ebay and PP the web is full of complains about you.

OMG card has finally arrived, so no more moving cash about, card seems better than old top up 1 so worth the wait.

Dont hold out too much hope for this card !!
I went to use mine today for the first time to withdraw cash from the ATM
ATM told me that "your card type is not recognized"
OK I thought and went to another ATM....
RBS - "Transaction declined"
Phoned customer services number on the back of card, to be told "There is an intermittent fault, try again in 10 minutes and it should be OK"
10 minutes later I tried another ATM....
Santander - "Unauthorised use"
Phoned customer services again and was told "try again in 30 minutes"
30 minutes later, I tried.....
Clydesdale - "Unauthorised use"
Fed up with this I headed home with empty pockets.
On the back of the card it says "This card is issued by PrePay Technologies Ltd, pursuant to license by Mastercard International"
Ok I thought and proceeded to PrePay Technologies LTD's (a.k.a. prepay solutions - prepaysolutions.com) website to look for a telephone number.
On the home page is the number 0845 5303 5303
Gave them a call and explained my reason for calling, only to hear an annoyed, defiant voice demand "where did you get this number from?"
I explained that it was on the homepage of their website!
The woman then proceeded to direct me to call customer services via an 0906 number (09067122360)
0906? - I dont think so.
Unable to find an alternative number, I called Mastercard customer services who advised me that they had no record of my mastercard number?
Finally I called Paypal customer services who advised me to call Santander on 0845 505 8801 (which is the number on the back of the card for paypal access card customer services?)
Anyway, back at square 1 and still with empty pockets !! 😞
Paypal No-Access Card? - What a crock of $hit !!
