How do I set paypal buttons on my web site so that only one item can be purchased by one cusdtomer only Please.

Payments Standard had an inventory feature.  Assuming you have either a Premier or Business account and you have verified the account that would be a good thing.  When you go to create an item button, in Step 2 of the process, there is an inventory feature.  You can go thru and see the steps here:
