I can't add my bank account.

Hi,

 

Everytime I try to add my bank account I receive this error message:

 

"We were unable to process your bank account registration at this time. We apologise for the inconvenience. Please try again at a later date."

 

Talking to paypal support just provides me with generic advice on adding my account.

 

I know how to add the account, and I have tried the 2 different methods that support have suggested, but still it does not work.

 

My bank account has never been linked to another paypal account. 

 

If somehow paypal could tell me why I receive this error, then I could do something about it. But at the moment, the only answer I receieve is telling me how to add the account (which obviously I know how to do, else I wouldn't get as far as receiving the error!)

 

Any help would be great.

tried contact paypal support but nerver get respond , so what should i do now ?

I am sorry to hear that you did not get a response. Have you tried to contcat us on Twitter or on Facebook? You can contact us by sending a Private message on Facebook or you can use@askPayPal on Twitter. 

 

They should be able to help you further.

You will need to change your country. I had to open a new account and it worked. 

 

Your address might be a different country than the country your recipient bank acc is from.

I have the same problem. The message I had (many times):

 

We were unable to process your bank account registration at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again at a later date.

 

Why? Why it could work "a later date" and not now?

 

My bank account is from Payoneer, Bank of America, USA.

 

My Paypal account has my country: Argentina.

 

I think it is a common association: PayPal, Payoneer account, there are many post from users around the world adding Payoneer bank account to Paypal. 

 

Even Payoneer mentioned it:

with an image about "Add a bank account" in Paypal

 

Any cue? Why that message? Why "try later"?

I could add my account asking via direct message to Twitter account @askpaypal

 

I explained my case, give them my email address, and then they change something in my account, so I could add my USA bank account.

 

Now, I have a difference in names (my Bank account, and Paypal). I went to profile, change name, uploaded a photo id document. I hope paypal will change my name

hola amigo! tmb soy argentino. acabo de crear una cuenta payoneer para poder linkearla a paypal y poder enviar pagos desde aca a la cuenta virtual de USA. me explicas como procediste? tengo cuenta paypal de ARG. saludos

hey!

I had the same problem, for some reason confirmation of my card helped. I received a charge on my card with a number and after that I was able to add my bank. Hope it helps!

same issue, don't know why this happen ;( really sad what the **bleep** is this i am really wiered of it. always showing !! My Bank is Bank of America i contact the bank they are saying its paypal problem and paypal saying its bank 😞 litterly wired and sick of those issues...
