HELP cancelled one payment as UNCLAIMED paid 2 days later where is my 1st payment going ??

Long story short.. Paid for item 15th May money showed UNCLAIMED I cancelled payment contacted seller and on the 17th paid again successfully, (On both occasions paypal balance NIL) so today a payment has gone out bank account, not showing in paypal balance, so My question  The 1st payment has a temporary hold placed on it does this mean that paypal will take the money TWICE from my bank 1 to pay seller and one that will leave me with a credit balance in paypal account???? THANK YOU for any advice/help.

Hi tinkywinky,

You are absolutely correct. Both payments will be requested, one will remain on temporary hold until the funds complete from your bank account and the other payment will go to your seller. This process takes 5-7 working days.
