Hi,
I received an email notification that funds had been transferred to my account by a client yesterday, but the funds are still not showing in my Paypal account. Can you please let me know how long I will have to wait before the money appears? I have never had to wait this long before, as usually fund transfers are instant.
Thanks.

Hey there hornetweb,
Does the email say claim your payment?
If so then the payment may have been sent to the wrong email address, possible an old one. You will need to find out the email address used and if possible confirm it on your PayPal account in order to have the payment clear into your PayPal account balance.
If you can’t confirm it, ask your buyer to cancel it and resend it to the correct email address.
If the email you received said the funds will credit into your PayPal account once you have provided tracking info to PayPal then this may be a fake email pretending to be PayPal.
Let me know.

Hi there Lucy,
Thanks for your reply. I asked my client to try resending the payment and it worked, looks like there may have been a problem with their card.
Thanks again.

Good to hear, for all you other users, you can easily check the status of a transaction by viewing your PayPal account History. Your History contains a record of all your PayPal transactions.
To view your History, follow these steps:
1. Log into your PayPal account at www.paypal.co.uk
2. Click ‘History’ near the top of the page.
3. Use the filter options to narrow your search, then click ‘Show’.
Once you find the transaction you are looking for, click the Payment Status link for that transaction (eg ‘Completed’) to learn what the status means.
You can also click the ‘Details’ link for more information and options related to that transaction.
