Credit Card Already Registered

Hi,

My husband already has a Paypal account and I'm trying to set one up today for myself. It demands I enter my credit card details but when I do, it says it has already been registered on my husband's account. We are joint holders of the card.

Is there any way we can both register the same card as it is a joint card.

Hey there zeyneph,

You can only have a card registered to one PayPal account at a time.

You can add on a debit card though if you have one of those. It doesn't have to be a credit card.

My card is already registered on another account, is it best to say I have lost it then when the bank send me another, I can put that on as a change of card.

Does any one think that  this will work. Sandy

Hi Sandy, I think it’s best to remove the card from the old or alternate account and just add it to your PayPal. If you have another account, maybe you could consider just using that account as your primary account. Good luck.

If you do not have any other PayPal account and are receiving the error message that your card is registered on another PayPal account I would suggest that you contact us by phone so we can run a search on your on your details. You can contact us on 08707307191.
