Change default credit card

Hi there,

I am wanting to change the default credit card I use for services in paypal?

Is this possible>

If I can answer my own query.

To change the default I deleted the current default card, now have a new default as I wanted.

Ridiculous that this is necessary instead of just allowing a tick box change of default. I am sure this farce is caused by the poor performing new/current website, as apposed to the very user friendly Classic site.

Now that Paypal have made it almost impossible to find the classic site (having withdrawn it from the menus),  there seems to be no way at all of setting one particular card as your default payment card.

The above instruction of going direct to the paypal credit card page https://www.paypal.com/creditcard after login is invaluable.

I have spent a fruitless 30 minutes searching the app's and then the new website for a way to do this,  and only after a lot of searching did I find this advice which still works.

Used @haongz method, worked perfectly.

The above only lets you change the default payment method for store payments,  what I wanted to do was to change the default card that ebay takes payment from.

Thanks for pointing it out though, I hadn't realised that paypal had different defaults for store payments and card payments

I'm also trying to find a way to have 'pay with credit card' as an option for paying for items on eBay, instead of using my PayPal balance all the time...that's the only option I have

Year later and we still can't change default card directly. Fail.
