where is my money?

i initiated a withdrawal of £605 from m paypal account on tuesday 8th at 0755 this money has not reached my account, it is now the 10th, paypal have failed to transfer the money in the time frame that they state, i paid £5 for a 1-2 day transfer they have exceeded the limit and the money has still not reached my bank account yet an ordinary transfer that i made on the same day has reached my bank account, so what has happened to my money? and will i get my £5.00 back?

My missing £500 has turned up in my Co-operative bank today.  Thank goodness for that.   I had to borrow money off my employer to get through last week.   Can I ask - how do we go about getting the £5 "faster" transfer fee back?

we got our £5 back possibly because we flooded them with Emails

We did see our money today but to cever ourselves did another faster transfer this morning guess what now on 24 Hour security hold LOL maybe I complained to hard last week

Mine also went in today, however, I did another faster transfer in the early hours of this morning and usually it's in by 12.30.................my withdrawal just says pending 😞 ARGHHHHH

It appears that I too now have a 72 hour security check placed on my account. Thanks Paypal! I think I'll be seeking an alternative from here on in. I understand issues will arise, I understand security checks...BUT ONE AFTER ANOTHER? C'mon!

Hi also did another faster transfer in the early hours of this morning 14th and still pending.

I did a faster transfer last night at 8:45pm and that is still showing as "pending" argh!!!!!!!!!!!! I can only assume that it is going through their "security" check.

If they "checked" their system a bit more carefully last weeks shambles wouldn't have happened!

so many complaints , and as usual no satisfactory explanation from paypal .

I did a withdrawal last night , paid the £5.00 , expecting it to arrive in my bank account today . IT DIDNT . At 6pm today on checking paypal account it was still showing as pending .  Having used this process hundreds of times before , and the funds always arriving next day , i was slightly concerned , and called paypal  for an explanation . Total time on the phone , approx  one hour , total cost of call about £10 in pay as you go credits .  A selection of questions and answers for your delight......

Q.    Where is my money?

A.  Your transaction is being held for up to 72 hours while it is investigated by our security system , it may take another 48 hours after that before it arrives in your account.

Q. Is there a problem with my account , has someone attempted to access my account , is there any evidence of fraud , is there a problem with any of the payments i received .?

A. There is no problem with your account , no fraud  , etc

Q. Then why is my account being investigated by your security system ?

A. I cant tell you that.

Q . Well can you put me through to someone who can , i would like my money?

A . No one can help you

Q . Well put me through to your security department 

A . We dont have one.

Q. Well if you have a security system , you must have someone in charge of it ?

A . We cant tell you that.

Q . Well let me speak to the most senior person in your department.

A . He wont come to the phone

Q . Well give me his name and then put me through to your customer services department or complaints department.

A. We dont have one .

Q If i make another transfer this evening , will this one be held by your security system also ?

A. We cant tell you that.

Q. Should i stop selling stuff on ebay untill this is resolved , because if people pay for an item and postage then i need to access these funds to pay the carriers .  . If you are telling me i cant access the funds i dont really want people to still send me money , when they will realistically have no chance of receiving their goods ?.

A. We cant tell you that.

So there you have it , after approx one hour wasted , phone credits wasted , nothing but blind frustration and anger ?

AND STILL NO ANSWER AS TO WHERE MY MONEY IS !!!!

Hi as the days go by the problem gets worse.Took 1 week to have the funds paid in my bank from the 8th,done a fast transfer today 14th and been told 120 hours before the money in my bank.

120 hours , for a fast transfer , blimey , how long will a normal transfer take !!!!!!

Still no response from paypal regarding my posting and recent email . No surprise really .

Maybe you should contact your customers and tell them you cant  send out their goods for at least 120 hours , because you havent received the funds from paypal .

I have a stack of parcels to send tomorrow , and if i dont get the funds through , then they are not getting sent  , after all , i am in business to make money , its not a charity  i am running .

If all the sellers on here , who are still waiting for "fast transfers" , refused to send out the goods , there would be a **bleep** of a lot of buyers complaining to paypal  . Maybe then , paypal might pull their finger out and release our funds .

They have to realise , we still have suppliers and carriers to pay. .
