joint paypal account

Good morning

My friends and I are each saving money monthly for a holiday in a few years.  Is there a paypal account or option to have multiple people pay into a paypal account, multiple people be able to "view only" the account balance/movements etc.

I am looking for 2 people to have financial control too ie more than 1 person can withdraw, but only with authorisation for a second person?  Ideally we can achieve this without financially effecting each others credit history.

Is this possible? and if so can you do this without linking to a real world bank account and or credit/dedit card?

Thank you

You would need a business account and be a UK registered business for another person to have authorisation.

You would need to add a credit card and bank account.

Your friends would have to pay in using the friends / family route AND not using a card to fund it or you will be charged.

thank you for your response!

unfortunately I am not a registered business.

If I understand right with a non business paypal account: -

1. friends could be invited to be able to pay directly into that paypal account via regular direct transfer from their own bank account with no charge

2. only the account holder has authority to withdraw funds?

3. all invited friends can log in and "view only" the account transactions ?

Thank you

1. As long as they used the friends / family option to send payment AND used their bank account to fund it.

2. Yes but to withdraw funds you have to have a bank account linked to your paypal account setting up the direct debit mandate.

3. NO NO-ONE can view your paypal account UNLESS you give them your paypal account password and no one in their right minds would do that.     Smiley Surprised
